For iOS
If you have enabled Push Notifications on both your iOS and Sunflower App settings but still cannot receive push notifications for your Sunflower App account, this may be resolved by refreshing your Push Notifications token. Do this by performing the steps below, while Sunflower App is running in the background:
- Open iOS settings
- Select Notifications
- Locate the Sunflower App on the menu and select it
- Set "Allow Notifications" to active
- Set "Sounds" and "Show in Notification Centre" to active
If you have logged in to different Sunflower App accounts on the same iOS device, restore push notifications by performing the steps outlined below:
- Log out of your current session
- Relogin to your account
- Kill the Sunflower App by double-tapping the home button and sliding the Sunflower App upwards
- Relaunch the Sunflower app
If all the above fails, reinstall your Sunflower App from the App Store.
For Android
If you have enabled Push Notifications on both your Android and Sunflower App settings but still cannot receive push notifications for your Sunflower App account, check the following to ensure that your phone settings are not blocking push notifications from being received promptly:
- Go to your settings and ensure that Priority Mode is disabled or that Sunflower App is enabled on Priority Mode
- Ensure that Restrict Background Data is unchecked for Sunflower App and Google Services
- Check that notifications apps such as Clean Master is deactivated for Sunflower App
If notifications are still not received on your device, perform the following to restore your Push Notifications token:
- Open Sunflower App and log out of your current session
- Relogin to your Sunflower App account
- Force-quit the Sunflower App by going to your Settings > Applications Manager > Force Stop/Quit (or similar steps)
- Relaunch the Sunflower App
If all the above fails, reinstall your Sunflower App from the Play Store.
